I feel so bad each time I see people complaining about government and the economy of the country as a factor responsible for their poverty. Have you ever asked yourself, that who are the government? If you really were? Then what was your answer? If you possibly answered it correctly, you would realize that without you and I, there would not be "government", and in the same veil, without the government, we wouldn't have had orderly day-to-day running of the business and economy of the country. From a clear understanding of this little explanation, you will agree with me that you are the government, and the government is you.
Having understood it correctly, folding your hands, doing nothing but only waiting for the government to supply all your necessities of life is one of the greatest worse limitations you have placed in your life. I can't confirm it, but I know that 90% of West African citizens today are suffering from poverty simply because they have formed baseless mentality that government is responsible for their stagnations in life. Once there is recessional outbreak in economy, this type of people always go down completely with it why because they have nothing to fall back to.
These persons complain too much. They are always polishing bench round the vicinity discussing the hard luck story of their life. And the second thing they do is political castigations of government officials.
My dear reader, do you belong to this group of people? If you are, you must be very lucky to have stumbled upon this article that opens you up to the fact that your future lies in your hands; not in government's. It's high time you disassociate yourself from this group of people, and begin to join the group of optimistic, focused, realistic and industrious men and women who vividly know that government is not their primary launcher of their lives success.
You are the key pilot of your life! Government is a blender in your life. What do I mean?
Take for instance; If you have a talent, instead to showcase your talent, you hide it to yourself, you will die with it without fulfilling the purpose of the talent. If you die with the talent, government wouldn't know you had it; it will only know that you have a talent by the time you begin to tell the world that you are capable of singing, dancing, drumming, healing, creating plane and so and so forth by displaying them to the available eyes.
You must present to the world, or the government as our case study today what you know how to do best; then the government will now pick you up for blending. You see why I said earlier that you are the launcher of your business, your talent, your destiny, e.t.c? In the first place, you have to discover that potential gift in you, then you now have a proof and license to seek for government help.
Everyone is created with one great potential or more! There is no one who is created without a purpose or one particular talent in life. Why do people blame government for their poverty or failure in life? I know very well why thousands of people keep nagging at the government for their state of life. The reason is nothing else but simply because they failed to discover their potential in life. Millions of people find life so difficult because they are yet to discover their purpose in life.
Now, it is time to ask yourself as you are reading this, that "What is my purpose in life"? " What is my talent "? " What can I do best or what do I do best"?
As you are asking yourself these questions, it is not enough for only you to answer it yourself. This is what you need to do:
I know you must have one or more best friends in your life, meet these your friends and start asking them what they can confine in you. But mind you; don't ask all of them at the same time and in a place. Ask them separately. Be wise to take note of all their says about you. After you have received response from all of them, then make your analysis of which that has higher positive responses. After which you have known the very potential they confined in you, then start working on it. Build yourself in it. Develop it in a greater way than you used to before.
These could be singing, dancing, writing, coaching, making people laugh, comforting people, prophesying, reading; name it.
I want to ask you this simple question. Is there any one in the world that doesn't have any talent in him?
Absolutely, there is none! Everyone is blessed with one talent or the other. It's just that we human being are too lazy to work. We always want to enjoy without going through or pay the price of this enjoyment. Every prize has a price to pay for. If you really want to archive greatness from life, you must really invest in your life. I am not talking about the type of investment many of us know and have with big big companies or stock market. I am talking about how you can redirect your thinking from building or forming this baseless mentality of "The government is responsible for my poverty" and start moving from your comfort zone to meet great people that can help to better your odds of life becoming a great man in the world.
WHAT DO YOU DO TO LIVE COMFORTABLY EVEN IN A BAD ECONOMY?
My dear reader, just as I have earlier said, government is not responsible for your poverty or stagnation in life. Your state of life is determined by your own action. If I may clear myself here, I would like to say that when the economy of any country is in a recessional state, no one is excepted from feeling the hardships it always comes with. Even the rich also feel the pain. Because at this time, their money is not flowing well to yield more money. It causes what seems to be "suicide expenditure" in their business and life when they purchase things that have hiked up. What I am saying is that it is a pity for those who don't dare something but, want to earn something. Since they didn't dare something, there is no way to earn something; and before you know it, they would start blaming the government for their failure.
Here are what you must do:
1. Believe in yourself: This is the basic truth of every greatness of life. If you don't believe in yourself, how do you expect others to believe in you? If you cannot convince yourself, how can you convince others? Therefore, for you to get it right with life, government and the world at large, you must believe in yourself and know how to convince others to believe in you.
2. Create products or services: Now, you ask; what can I create? There are many things you can create to start making money. But the first thing is choice. That is decision making! Decide on what you want to create. You may decide to open a laundry business, barbing saloon, hair dresser business, rearing of chickens, fish pond, cattle rearing, computer center, game business, book store, transport business etc as the case may be.
Listen, it doesn't end there. The next thing is how you are going to carry out your new business plan to build it to suit your potential customers. Carefully choose the resources you use in building your business because the type of business you choose and the resources you use determine the type of customers you will be having.
Therefore, you must be very careful as you put your business together. You must ask yourself, "who am I creating this type of business for", who will enjoy the goods or services I am creating". It is very important that you clearly know for whom the goods or services you are creating meant for. Because having known them, you will be able to package your business in such a great way to satisfy their needs.
3. Be consistent and reliable to your line of business.

5. Be committed to your business
6. Finally, you must form a habit of savings.
